Forum Rules and Guidelines

Welcome to Your Fansite Community Forums! This forum was created for you, the fansite owners. Whether you are a prospective, current, or former fansite owner, or you would like to become part of our community, you are always welcome. Please take note of our forum rules and guidelines to ensure an optimal experience for all.

1. Please be nice and treat others with respect. Offensive content such as swearing, sexual content, trolling, flaming, fighting, harassing, or otherwise creating an unpleasant experience will not be tolerated.

2. Please ensure topic titles are as specific as possible, to ensure an optimal experience for all

3. Do not post topic titles or posts mostly in CAPS or with excessive exclamation marks. This is distracting and is often SEEN AS SHOUTING.

4. Do not register for multiple forum accounts.

5. Please avoid double posting whenever possible. Posts can be edited within 30 minutes of posting.

6. Links and references to your fansites (regardless of host) are allowed, however please do not spam promote your website(s) around the forum. Generally forum promotion should be restricted to the showcase forum only.

7. No links to any offensive material, including, but not limited to:
- Hacking, cracking, network attacks, phishing, malware or bank fraud;
- Pornography, hentai, pedophilia or sexual strength;
- Defamatory, violent, discriminatory (racial, sexist, etc.) content;
- Sale and / or OTC exchange, sale or exchange of drugs or other illicit substances.

8. Images in signatures are acceptable, however please do not insert in those of excessive size or contain hidden / malicious links.

If a member feels a post is inappropriate / in violation of the forum rules, please report it to the staff by clicking on the 'Report' button. Alternatively, you may send the link to a staff member via the private messaging system. Rude behavior and/or a violation of these forum rules and guidelines may result in disciplinary action up to and including a permanent ban.

Where a situation exists which may not be fully covered by the forum rules and guidelines, discretion will be up to the Administrator.
